austion-area doula, lindsey ehlers, wanted to show what postpartum doulas are all about. it’s more than just changing diapers and folding clothes, postpartum doulas help families get their sanity back and get their much-deserved rest. not only that, but doulas like lindsey become an extra family member, there to help with all the needs that new parents have.

we chose several scenes to show what her work involves, including folding clothes, making meals from scratch, taking the baby for a walk while parents have their own time, helping a new mom nurse, washing dishes and being an emotional support for the new mom (and the whole family).
